Abstract

Call for Abstracts:

MASCON 2018 is currently accepting abstracts for podium and e-poster presentations during the meeting. We encourage you to submit abstracts relating to interesting case reports and case series on your work in Anaesthesia. All abstracts have to be submitted online.

Instructions:

• Only registered delegates can submit abstracts.
• Once you register for the conference you shall receive an email confirmation of the conference. The same email shall have your user word and password required to submit the abstracts.
• All Abstracts are to be submitted online.
• During the online submission process, you will be asked to enter the presenting author, the presenting author's contact information and the names and email addresses of all co-authors.
• Please ensure the email address of the presenting author is accurate, as this will be the sole method of communication regarding acceptance.
• There is a limit of 500 words for each abstract.
• No images or tables can be uploaded for the submission.
• You will receive an email confirmation of each submission.
• Abstracts cannot be edited after submission.
• Abstracts are reviewed & graded in a blind fashion by MASCON 2018 Scientific Committee members.
• All Abstracts must be provided in English.

How to Submit Abstract:

• Register for conference by sending form to conference secretariat or Register online.
• You shall receive an email confirmation confirming your registration. The same email will have your user word and password required to submit the abstract.
• The email confirmation will be sent within 4 to 5 working days after sending your registration form and is not real time.
• Abstract Submission and go to abstract section and submit the abstract.
• The Abstracts will be accepted under the following categories -
• Category A - Podium presentation – “Dr Sameer Pradhan Memorial Award Category” for Original Clinical research.
  A comprehensive formal submission of the entire study will need to be submitted if the abstract is accepted.
  Prize - Medal and award of Rs 25,000
• Category B - Poster presentation - Case Series category
• (Minimum of three cases of an interesting/challenging or rare clinical presentation) -
  Prize - Award of Rs 10,000 & Rs 5000
• Category C - Poster presentation Interesting Case presentation -
  Prize - Award of Rs 7500 & Rs 3000
• You shall receive an auto confirmation which is system generated on submitting your abstract.
• The best six papers selected will be vie for the Dr Sameer Pradhan Medallion and Award, The remaining submissions in the category A will be judged at a separate podium presentation

Presentation Format:

• Podium presentations must be presented in English in PowerPoint Format. The allotted time for the presentation is 8 minutes with 2 minutes for discussion.
• E-posters must be presented in English in the prescribed format which will be sent over email. Time allotted is 5 minutes with 2 minutes for discussion.
