We are delighted to invite submissions for Original Research, Case Reports, Case Series, and Video Presentations. Showcase your work, share your innovations, and compete for prestigious awards across multiple categories.

Category A: Dr. Sameer Pradhan Memorial Award
Original Research Papers (Researchers below 35 years of age)
The top five submissions will be shortlisted for podium presentations and will compete for the prestigious Dr. Sameer Pradhan Memorial Award.
Prizes:
- First Prize – ₹51,000
- Second Prize – ₹25,000
Category B: Original Research Papers
Open to researchers of all ages.
Research papers submitted under Category A that are not shortlisted among the final five will automatically be considered under Category B.
Prizes:
- First Prize – ₹21,000
- Second Prize – ₹15,000
- Third Prize – ₹10,000
Category C: Junior Dhurandhar Award
e-Poster Presentation (Case Report / Case Series)
Eligibility:
- Postgraduate trainees
- Junior Anaesthesiologists (up to 3 years after postgraduate qualification)
Prizes:
- First Prize – ₹11,000
- Second Prize – ₹7,500
Category D: Senior Dhurandhar Award
e-Poster Presentation (Case Report / Case Series)
Eligibility:
- Freelancing Anaesthesiologists
- Consultants and Senior Anaesthesiologists
Prizes:
- First Prize – ₹11,000
- Second Prize – ₹7,500
Category E: Director's Award
Option 1: Proof of Concept
Create a professionally edited video demonstrating an anaesthesiology concept,
procedure, innovation, or professional hack.
Maximum Duration: 4 minutes 30 seconds.
Option 2: Humor in Uniform
A light-hearted and entertaining video portraying the everyday experiences and
challenges of anaesthesiologists.
Maximum Duration: 5 minutes.
Prizes:
- First Prize – ₹11,000
- Second Prize – ₹7,500
Categories A & B: Original Research Submissions
Eligibility & Rules
- Presenter must be a member of the research team or presenting their own thesis work.
- Presenter must be registered for MASCON 2026.
- Applicants for Category A must be below 35 years of age.
- Date of Birth must be mentioned during submission.
- Judges’ decisions will be final.

Submission Deadline: 15 September 2026
Submission Process
- Submit the complete research paper in the prescribed format through the MASCON website. Please go through the requirements for the manuscript detailed on the website.They are similar to any standard scientific journalrequirements.
- Accepted authors will receive instructions on PowerPoint presentation preparation during the MASCON 2026.
- Five papers will be shortlisted for the Dr. Sameer Pradhan Memorial Award podium session and the timing of the session announced.
- Shortlisted participants will be informed during the first week of October 2026.
- All other accepted research papers will be presented as podium presentations under Category B. The presentations for Category B,C and D will be held from 7.30 am on Saturday 24th October 2026.
Note: Please wait till the first week of October to know the status of your paper. You will get the details of how to prepare the powerpoint in your acceptance e mail by the first week of October. Details will also be put up on the website.

Categories C & D: Case Report / Case Series Submissions
Eligibility & Rules
- Presenter must be registered for MASCON 2026.
- Judges' decisions will be final.
- Applicants for Category C must be below 35 years of age.
- Date of Birth must be mentioned during submission.

Submission Deadline: 25 September 2026
Submission Process
- Submit your abstract through the MASCON Abstract Submission Portal.
- Accepted authors will receive a presentation template.
- Category C is reserved for postgraduate trainees and anaesthesiologists up to 3 years post qualification.
- Category D is reserved for freelance practitioners and senior consultants.
- The presentations for Category B,C and D will be held from 7.30 am on Saturday 24th October 2026.
Abstract Submission Guidelines (Categories C–D)
- Title: Maximum 25 words
- Abstract Body: Maximum 300 words (excluding title, author names, affiliations, and references)
- Images: Maximum 2 images per abstract (not included in word count)
- Language: English
- Work must be original and unpublished.
- Submission must be made through the website only.
- File Format: MS Word (.doc/.docx)
- Font: Calibri, Size 12
Please include a brief note mentioning:
- Qualifications
- Current designation
- Years of experience

Category E: Director's Award – Video Submission Guidelines
Upload your video link through the Abstract Submission Portal.
Option 1 – Proof of Concept
A professionally produced educational video demonstrating an anaesthesiology-related
concept, procedure, innovation, or practical solution.
Maximum Duration: 4 minutes 30 seconds.
Option 2 – Humor in Uniform
A humorous and engaging portrayal of the daily life of an Anaesthesiologist.
Maximum Duration: 5 minutes.
Please clearly indicate whether your submission is under Option
1 or Option 2.
The viewing and judging procedure will be announced at a later date.
